YouTube Poll

The White House is taking its fight against illegal drugs online. On Sept. 19, 2006, the Office of National Drug Control Policy aired its first anti-drug advertisement on YouTube, a video-hosting Web site popular with teens and young adults.

Since its inception in 2005, YouTube has expanded its audience to more than 70 million daily viewers. The Bush administration hopes to take advantage of the trendy technology to reach younger generations with its anti-drug message.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Will the White House-sponsored anti-drug advertisements on YouTube be successful in encouraging teens and young adults to “say no to drugs”?
